Terms of Use

Last updated: June 5, 2026

The basics

Notion Formatter is a free tool that fixes Markdown and HTML formatting in your browser. By using it, you agree to these terms. Don't use it if you don't agree.

What you can expect

  • Free to use, for personal or commercial purposes
  • No signup required for core features
  • All processing runs locally in your browser
  • Your content stays on your machine

Play nice

Don't:

  • Try to break or overload the service
  • Use it for illegal content
  • Create accounts for spam or abuse

Your content stays yours

Everything you paste into and get out of this tool belongs to you. We don't claim any rights to your content — because we never see it.

Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you do create an account, keep your credentials safe. Let us know if you see suspicious activity on your account.

No warranties

This is a free tool provided as-is. We fix bugs and improve things, but we can't guarantee it'll be perfect or always available. Formatting results may vary depending on your input.

Liability

We're not liable for any issues arising from using (or not being able to use) this tool — including data loss or formatting problems. Use it as a helper, not as your only copy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
